If you're going to any of the islands that aren't served by public ferry, then you'll need to book a private speedboat. Private speedboats are available for the islands Aur, Besar, Dayang, Pemangil and Tinggi.

The following roundtrip routes are available:

Mersing - Pulau Aur
Mersing - Pulau Sibu Besar
Mersing - Pulau Dayang
Mersing - Pulau Harimau
Mersing - Pulau Sibu Hujung
Mersing - Pulau Pemangil
Mersing - Pulau Rahsia
Mersing - Pulau Raja
Mersing - Pulau Rawa (Off the island)
Mersing - Pulau Sibu Tengah
Mersing - Pulau Tinggi

A combination of the above islands is possible. Please note that a permit is required for some of the islands. The speedboat can take a maximum of 12 passengers.

NOTE: Please always wear your life jackets, provided by the speedboat operator, as conditions at sea tend to be subject to weather changes.
