If you're looking forward to Tioman's nightlife and swinging by a few pubs after your days in the sun, then you'll be happy to learn that there are about a dozen pubs or bars in Tioman. Most are located on or near the beach and all offer a nice laid-back after-hours atmosphere, usually with a suitable mix of ambient music.

Given that Tioman was granted duty-free status in 2004, the majority of the alcoholic beverages available tend to be lower in price than on the mainland. Typically, beer and spirits are on offer.

Incidentally, some bars offer bon-fire nights, which never fails to draw in the punters, because, let's face it, it does add an extra dimension of merriment.
